“Music plays a major part in the world we live in today. It is a way of self expression, whether that be through just listening, playing, or creating. It is a big part of my life, and I am grateful to be able to have had the opportunity to learn an instrument. I believe it is a gift to be able to make music, and as a teacher, I hope to grow a love of music in my students.”
Sasha is excited to join South Island Studio as a Junior Teacher.
She started playing the piano at 6 years old and has recently completed her level 9 piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Sasha enjoys working with children. In addition to babysitting, she has assisted with the musical theatre camps at SIS for the past 3 years and has been an assistant teacher for junior hip hop classes at Protege Dance Project.
Sasha is currently a grade 11 student at Glenlyon Norfolk School.
